How Do I Know My Car Needs A Servicing?

It's essential to regularly service your car, even if the service light isn't on. For old cars, you shouldn't go more than six months without a service. These are some signals that should be taken seriously.

A . Engine warning light
If a yellow light from engine on your dashboard , you should get your car to the garage for  service as soon as possible as there are a range of engine problems that this light could indicate.

B . Strange noises
Any new noises coming from your car should find out before they develop into serious problems. Here are some of the echo you may hear from your car
Whining from under the bonnet, Louder-than-usual exhaust noise, Uneven engine noise, Metal-on-metal, and Crunching gears.

C . Steam coming from the bonnet
Usually produced by overheating and problems with the radiator, steam is generally white color. Blue smoke is caused by burning oil, and can be quite a high-priced problem if left unfixed. Extra smoke from the exhaust can also signal an oil leak.

D. Vibrating or pulling under braking
This could be due to over-used brake discs or pads, a suspension problem or an issue with your steering.

These indication could also be a sign of tire wear, so check that your tires have at least the minimum requirement of tyre tread – 1.6mm – and that they’re not wearing unevenly.
